In 2011 Empire was named the #1 Venue with a capacity of 30,001+ by Venues Today Magazine. In 2013 Empire was awarded the #1 “California” Top Stops for venues with 15,000 or more capacity. The phenomenally popular Coachella Music Music & Arts Festival, Stagecoach Country Music Festival, Southwest Arts Festival, Rhythm, Wine & Brews Fest, Sandstorm Lacrosse Tournament and the Kennel Club of Palm Springs Dog Show are examples of events that are held annually at Empire Polo Club.
The expansive grass polo fields and unique venues within Empire’s majestic gates provide the perfect location for a variety of indoor and outdoor special events ranging from 15 guests to more than 90,000. The intimate garden areas in The Rose Garden, Hacienda del Toro and Medjhool Lake are ideal for small and medium-sized groups of 15 to 500.
If you are planning a larger corporate event, Medjhool Lake and The Forum both combine the use of of indoor and outdoor space to create a versatile location for a variety of medium- and large-scale events and activities. The Forum offers 48,000 square feet of usable, enclosed space that opens up to a grass polo field offering an additional 150 x 300 yards of outdoor space. The Medjhool Lake venue houses several Olympic-peaked tents that offer a total of 24,000 feet of covered space. The tents overlook two immaculate polo fields, each measuring 150 x 300 yards.
